One of the advantages of living in the Tropics is the variety of fresh fruit available. Many Bahamians grow their own fruits, have someone in close proximity who does, or can readily obtain seasonal fruit from roadside vendors. Most of the cultural knowledge surrounding fruits begins at an early age: avoiding worms in guavas, color changes in jujus and mangoes when ripe, etc. This tee is a celebration of our cultural knowledge and appreciation of our native fruits.
